Some use the name Xelon, or whatever the name, it’s a pure scam and lie. Let us know who does this so we can warn consumers. Tell them NOT to charge you this. If they say it’s already done, tell THEM NOT TO CHARGE you. They are lying to you. One of my customers was charged $999 by these scammers. Mobile Car Care is 21 years old on January 17th yeahhhhhhhh

Mobile Car Care, the Inventor of the Mobile Detailing concept, is celebrating its 21st anniversary in January 2012.  After leaving USAIR in 1991, Bill Swisher was confronted with a decision, to stay with a great USAIR job or go out on a leap of faith.  After a severe drought  affected the entire South eastern US and Florida, the Government water management districts were not allowing ANY car washing at homes or Business in order to concerve.  Since Swisher would detail cars of friends at his home for fun and while off duty at USAIR each week, that process had to change or a fine would result from the water police.  So, since NO ONE thought of this Mobile Concept to wash or detail cars, aircraft, etc on site, Swisher started the very first Mobile Detailing unit in Daytona Beach, Florida by exploring concepts.

Swisher then took a leave of absence at USAIR for 6 weeks and after a slow start, like 2 weeks, the business was a hit.  Now even Bill Swisher mentions that he wont talk about the 493 failures previous (lol), but this was a popular service that meant that Mobile Car Care was the ONLY entity allowed to wash cars in Florida.   In those days, no one could buy Generators or water tanks as readily as one can today at the big box stores and discount clubs.  He ordered Generator and bought water tanks from farm supply centers in Georgia.   So after taking  months to tweak the mobile design (since he had no one to copy or brain pick like the copy cats can do today), the formula was there for a successful business.   And Mobile detailing was a booming business done ONLY by Mobile Car Care.

Soon people began to see the popularity of the mobile concept  and wanted to work for Mobile Car Care.  Media press stories on the success gained attention.  Bill Swisher immediately decided to "franchise" the business so that owners could reap the rewards of their work themselves.  THAT business model also took off, and became popular.  Currently there are 517 (at this writing) Franchised Mobile Car Care units in the nation.  40% are owned by Investors who hire someone to work the unit and the detailer pays them a fee, just like a renter pays rent on a house.  One owner in Texas actually left the Housing investments industry to open 12 franchises that pay him more in fees than his Income Property ever did.  In 21 years of Business, there has been ZERO failures,  In fact in only one case, where one owner simply got tired of running a franchise himself after becoming 62 years young, Mobile Car Care resold the unit for that original purchaser, at NO COST and NO profit to MCC.  NOW, that is a great Franchise experience and the owner is happy that his customers have a great franchise taking care of his customers he built up in 10 yrs of business.

OK, I gained 30 pounds and got out of shape running the company in my cool and comfortable office.  So when my Doctor asked what I did before to stay fit and trim, I told him I detailed cars everyday. I have been taking care of cool cars last week or so.  Lenny Pistone, of New Port Richy, FLA,  is the proud owner of the classic Chevy. I was happy to see it has Mobile Car Care colors.  Nearly screamed like a little girl when I saw the car.  Amazing vehicle that is unofficially the MCC mascot. LOL.  Lenny goes to car shows and cleans up in 1st place trophy's left and right.  The other car, wooooo, that just made me start rethinking the purchase of a Dodge Challenger. It's Rob's special MOPAR Dodge Edition Charger.  Just amazing, and I cant think of the proper words.

I "almost" had them convinced that I MUST air dry these vehicles when I do follow up washes.. dang, would have worked if I didn't chuckle... dang !

ATLANTA calling Mobile Car Care for Expansion

POSSIBLE ATLANTA EXPANSION:

Atlanta Economic Development offices along with Georgia State Economic officials and Staff from Gov of Georgia's office has inquired with MOBILE FRANCHISES and MobileCarCare.com as to the possibility of location of Main Franchise offices at the ATLANTA airport area.

The powers that be heard about MobileCarCare.com expansion plans on WSB Radio along with Atlanta News media interviews with Bill Swisher, CEO. The discussion on the Radio and TV stations concerned the expansion plans for SWISHERCO.com and Mobile Car Care and the requirement that large hub Airports need to be in play. Swisher expressed that his life would be easier if potential clients could make a flight or trip that didn't include 2 airline stops in favor for Direct flights. Atlanta would be perfect. While Swisher is committed to Orlando and Los Angeles in other business, the Franchises would be a perfect fit.

The only things to be worked out in future meetings in June 2010 will be Tax incentives and Business items to equal the playing field of current locations that have no State Income Taxes and other items not Business Friendly. News on this up coming in July as to our final decision.

19 Years in Business Celebation for Mobile Car Care

January 2010, Mobile Car Care celebrates its 19th year in Business. In a leap of Faith, Bill Swisher, Invented the FIRST Mobile Detailing process. Only mobile units, if any, that operating in 1991 was people using a home's water hose and electric. Mobile Car Care started as a reaction to the multi year Drought that hit Florida in 1991. Leaving a great Job at USAIR airlines was a big decision. Bill Swisher operated his own mobile Unit that has progressed into State of the art mobile Technology. I hate to see a drought in any area, let alone where we are focusing our expansion. The current water restrictions should assist selling of our Mobile Car Care services and selling of our Franchises and Business Opportunities. Currently we are contemplating our National HQ location for the Franchises or entire Swisherco Home Office. The winner of the Orlando or Pasco and Tampa area will be announced in Fall 2009. The loser gets 400 Franchise employees while still opening over 500 various independently owned franchises ( Mobile Car Care, Mobile Auto Doctor, Mobile Pet Guys, Mobile Geek Guys, and Mobile Handyman). The winner will get over 1000 new employees just to start with plans of 3000 more as the National HQ plan is expanded.


But the Southwest Florida Water Management District (click title post to see each county water laws) water restrictions will Not allow residents to wash their car at home. This will accelerate the growth in the area for more MCC franchises. With plans of 400 to 1000 initial jobs to benefit the Hillsborough, Polk, Pinellas, and Pasco Counties, an additional 160 to 200 actual Mobile Car Care Franchises will be needed as soon as possible to handle the demand.

While the CEO, Bill Swisher, plans to make this area his second home, he is praying for rain to return to the area in the summer rains. The same situation occurred in the Atlanta when that region had severe droughts until storms finally restored the water tables and reservoirs.


And don't forget, as you can read in the first post below on how Mobile Car Care started, MCC began as a direct result of a 1991 Florida drought. Bill Swisher left USAIR in a leap of faith to start one mobile unit. It took a couple years of proofing the design and make a turn key approach to put others in the business. Currently, the only competition are fly by night copy cats that come and go and look a lot less professional than Mobile Car Care. With 2000 additional MCC franchises to be added when Los Angeles and Florida is online, with production facilities, this concept will dominate the market in a larger scope in good water times and poor water times for communities. In fact, currently, legal status is being changed from Swisherco selling Business Opportunities rather than Franchises in the full sense of the State Requirements. This makes it easier to place MCC units out in the public, putting people back to work and of good standing.

TAMPA BAY area might replace ORLANDO as National HQ for Swisherco and Mobile Car Care

Recent events in fact finding in Tampa Bay ( Hillsbough County, FL)-New Port Richey (Pasco County, FL) has prompted Mobile Car Care Senior staff and Swisher Co senior staff to Possibly make West Florida the new National Headquarters for Swisherco and the Franchise division of Swisherco. More information will be featured on the regular dot com http://www.mobilecarcare.com/ up in June 09.

Plans were in place that made it a 80 percent chance to have Orlando, specifically Sanford- Lake Mary, area the new National Headquarters. Over 12 cities needed to be consolidated in just 2 cities, Los Angeles area and Central Florida. But recent events in Orlando concerning a reduction of quality of applicants, rise in Violent crime and favorable demographics of West Florida prompted a rethinking of the selection of the National HQ.

Originally, these plans were set to place JUST the Franchise division in Tampa Bay area. This franchise division included Mobile Car Care, Mobile Geek Guys, Mobile Pet Care, Mobile Handyman, and Busy Bee Maids. Additionally, part of the Banking Division under Swisherco was slated to add 10 branches from Brooksville in the North to Sarasota to the south of West Florida. This plan would add a minimum of 300-400 new employees to the area, in itself, a generous economic impact for the area. Orlando was to retain all other Swisherco entities on or near the Sanford Orlando airport including the new planned Fall 2009 deployment of the Wild Fire Fighting plan.. called Water Bombing, since that area had the appropriate and capable airport. This main HQ would need over 1000 new employees and with plans of 3000 to be hired in 3 to 5 years.

But this concept might be reversed in favor of Tampa Bay if it continues to excel in pre-selection fact finding and scoring. However the Water Bombing aircraft deployment will still remain in Orlando but the need for more employees will shift to Tampa bay for most needs. Either way Orlando and Tampa will benefit greatly with Tampa Bay becoming the National HQ. Property is being located that will include a 200,000 office building initially and Swisherco owned Hotel and conference center on property. Retail and restaurant properties will be located on site as well. Helicopter access will be available and Driving proximity to the Tampa Airport a must.... not more than 20 minutes commute.

The Mobile Car Care site will be back up this week or next. It was being changed to reflect the new information and to reflect the latest State and Federal compliance pertaining to Franchises in our expansion.

Mobile Car Care has decided to Step up the expansion mode to add 2000 more Franchises. Since we do things legally and correctly and safe for the potential Franchise buyer., We need to re apply for the proper Federal Trade Commission compliance, trademarks and Franchise documents. Additionally, this 17 year successful formula is going to be taken to start other Mobile Franchises that there is a great deal of need for the consumer.

Not only will there be additional Mobile Car Care franchises, it has been discovered in 17 years of operation, that many of the Franchises are self sufficient.
