MOBILE CAR CARE Invented by Bill Swisher

MOBILE CAR CARE and the Entire mobile car wash and detail industry was invented by Bill Swisher years before the Copy cats came up with the idea. Started in 1991 with a $4000 loan, 2001 revenues surpassed $120 million in revenues. Franchises are sold across the Nation and over 180 franchises have been delivered with ZERO failures.

HISTORY:
Back in 1991, Bill Swisher was working for USAIR and as a hobby and extra Travel money he would detail cars at his home. But that year was one of the worst in Drought conditions in Florida. The St Johns Water District was so concerned, they patrolled neighborhoods to stop the use of Yard irrigation and car washes. Since it was a lucrative side business, Swisher didn't want to lose the income. So he thought that all he needed was a water tank and electric generator. No one had thought about this concept before, and had no one to brain pick for the information. So Bill Swisher built a prototype and tested it for a few months. Swisher left USAIR to pursue this company but never thought it would be this large a company.
In 1993 individuals stopped Swisher to ask if they could work for him, but since he already had too many customers, he decided to build an extra Mobile unit for them and put them to work. He guaranteed customers and charged for the mobile unit. Then that owner was swamped with customers and more Mobile Units were needed.

So to comply with Federal Trade Commission laws concerning franchises, not to mention the home State of Florida Business Opportunity laws,, Swisher had to prepare the proper sales procedures. At first he built one or two franchises and then assisted them in gaining customers, but some franchises became self sufficient and prospered. After about 20 franchises sold, Swisher expanded to larger offices and the company took off. Some of the Mobile units were Trailer units but the development of Ford or Chevy Van units made some city Franchises very visible and more productive. The only downside of the initial years of Mobile Car Care were the dishonest people that attempted to "brain pick" Swisher and the Sales staff. These people only 4 in total in Florida attempted to start their own units after all technical and operational aspects were disclosed to them (forced by FTC disclosures) my MCC. But 'NON-COMPETES were signed and that permitted the copy cats to shut down by Court order and pay Swisher a fine. It deemed a good deterrent since after the word was out that Swisher intended to protect his product, no one attempted to copy that way. However, the word is out and people start very unprofessional looking units to serve the customers, they never stay in business for long and most if not all have no way to run a business. So they die by the way side. While MCC prospers.

Currently Mobile Car Care is part of the major expansion plans for SWISHERCO.com which is centralizing to Los Angeles and Orlando. Orlando will remain the EASTERN US office and control Europe operations in all diversified companies that Swisher owns. They include not only the Franchises but Swisher owns Banks, Energy companies, Home Development, Wild Fire Bombing, Motion Picture funding, Inventions to market Searches, etc.

THE FRANCHISE:

Each Franchise receives not only the equipment to start and run the business, they receive Business lessons and Detailing lessons. A good percentage of the applicants have detailing experience but most have no clue how to run a company and take care of customers which is the copy cat demise. So on site training and customer care is as important as the actual care to the vehicles. Most vehicle detailed and washed on schedules include Cars, trucks, aircraft, vans, RV,s , motorcycles, and even boats and trailers. Our products are one of a kind and not something you will find at Auto Product retailers like Wal Mart. The wax is designed for Airliners and Swisher has had the formula for 20 years. He bought the company which wasn't able to roll with the fluctuations in sales via the airlines ups and downs. The wax is overkill for any car since a car will never endure any such changes in weather that an aircraft will endure. SO it outlasts anything out there.

In fact, MCC warranties the detail for 18 months (not 12 months) which means that after washing a car under warranty, the car is detailed over and over FREE for the entire 18months. So the car will look the same in 18 months as it did day 1.

A Franchise also receives its own Laptop with GPS traffic control and business software which helps in tax time and financials later. A MCC liaison is assigned to a number of owners to provide any help from customer service and tech support. If anything breaks on a Franchise, a free replacement is given so that customers are not serviced. It is a rare occurrence, but a comfort for owners to know they are never experiencing down time and loss in Revenue is great.

The owners get Tshirts, and sales materials, supplies for car washing intimately for 6 months so that the owner doesn't have to hurry and buy supplies. Further more the supplies are at cost so to max out the profit for each unit and experience more revenues.

INCOME:

Our Mobile Units produce more income than any other copy cats of private mobile detailers. Some units make upwards of $100,000 but most average $50,ooo NET..after expenses. After a short time most owners buy multi units and hire the operators (which we have to OK and check) and then they revert to run their company that has 4-5 units running. That is where is Revenues get fun. Other secret ways to make money during down times and time when you can even make money on vacation. And that can be substantial and upwards of $5000 a month with just one of those plans.

A small fee of $200 month is the only "franchise fee" paid. We decided long ago we didn't want a percentage of the income made by franchisees. All our executives come from running units and we hire from with in all the time for positions needed so there is upward movement in the franchise owner.

CUSTOMERS:

MOBILE CAR CARE gets initial customers for you and show you how to manage them. Soon, many units are full of clients and need help in a second unit, where we help there too. One unit moved from Orlando to South Carolina and our staff helped them restart and get customers in a week long sales program. No charge for the franchisee.

COST of FRANCHISE:

The cost of the entire Franchise is $80,000 per van unit and $50,000 for a trailer unit in case the person has a truck he wants to use. We like the Van unit better since it is totally self contained and looks more professional. But both vehicles are available. You get all the supplies, detail training, business training, sales assistance forever, free use of a vehicle if yours is broken (happens very rarely), all equipment, laptop and GPS gizmo, tools commonly used. And other equipment you can use to make extra money from a customer, flyer's, business supplies, t-shirts, everything to go into business from day on.

And we train in the field...no school. Mobile Car Care cant even take the calls for service coming in and you might as well learn on the field with out Trainers and sales staff. Book keeping and business matters will be taught to family members who might be the one handling those duties. Some Wives do that and run to the bank with checks and even make the schedule for the operator. what ever the needs, we accommodate..

NEWS:

AS of December 08 a new division called www.THECARGuys.com will go online. This will be only vans of White color and racing checkers on the exterior. The units will be $70,000 each but enable less support from Mobile Car Care and if help is needed it will be fee based. This was to accommodate the owners who get off to a good start and don't need all the services MCC owners require. Feedback will be necessary and Quality control still in place but these units will run automatically.

Back Ground and drug tests will be part of the system but depending on any criminal history, there might not be dis Qualification just due to that. People make mistakes and learn from them

Additionally, for the past year MCC is in the final stages of obtaining 100 percent funding for people who don't have the traditional 20 per cent down to purchase.

REALITY CHECK:

We didn't see the copy cats out there for some time but in most cities they are normal to see. Yes you can build a mobile unit for a third of the price but it will resemble a grass cutter trailer trash business. Almost all copy cats that we saw started a couple years ago are now out of business. None of Mobile Car Care units have failed. With 3,000 more going up with our LA and Orlando consolidation, the company is healthy and in a position to give you a fun career.
